DaytonMostMetro.com was created in August 2006 by Bill Pote as an independent city guide and blog focused on the urban core of Dayton, Ohio. Over the years it has grown and ultimately transformed (with the help of UpDayton) into an online magazine with several contributors writing about interesting things happening across the entire Dayton Region.
Our blog covers several different categories such as Active Living, Arts & Entertainment, Downtown Dayton, Food Drink & Shop, Getting Involved and Life. Our writers are active in the topics they write about, so you often get a first-hand perspective of many things to see, do and get involved with across Dayton.
In our Resources section we offer a complete list of Dayton Media and Dayton Blogs links – complete with up-to-date RSS feeds. Many people visit these pages as an easy one-stop place to get all of the latest blog and news headlines.
The DMM Communities section highlights several area towns and city neighborhoods with maps, link lists and other useful information. We’re always looking to add more – let us know if you’d like to add your community!
We also have the DMM Forum – a very active online community of people that have daily discussions about things happening in our city and region, and ideas for making our city better. Active members include the Mayor of Dayton, local architects, city staffers, developers, business owners and everyday people that love Dayton and want to see it succeed.
Finally, we have the DMM Events Calendar which is quickly becoming the most comprehensive events calendar in the region. It is the only events calendar syndicated on over a dozen other websites – something to remember if you’d like to promote an event. And with all the social media bells and whistles, it may be the only events calendar you’ll ever need while in Dayton.
