Who We Are
Bill Pote – Publisher, Executive Editor
Chicago native Bill Pote moved to Downtown Dayton in 2003 and created Dayton Most Metro in 2006 as a downtown-centric blog and city guide as a side project. Soon afterward he became engaged in the community and got involved with efforts to improve Downtown Dayton, connecting with many others who were as passionate about Dayton as he was. In 2008 he expanded Dayton Most Metro into a regional online magazine with the help of a group of volunteers and an advocacy group called UpDayton, and today it continues to grow with over 40 volunteer writers and thousands of weekly readers.
Lisa Grigsby – Co-Publisher, Dayton Dining Editor
Lisa Grigsby is a Special Events Director with over twenty five years experience in promotions, event coordination and public relations. Owning Jokers Comedy Cafe for 20 years taught Lisa to maintain a sense of humor under pressure. She credits Leadership Dayton for exposing her to the amazing assets of the region and Clothes That Work for being her reason she stayed in Dayton. Her proudest accomplishment as a past president of the Miami Valley Restaurant Association was creating Restaurant Week, a twice a year tradition that continues to grow and benefit local charities as well. As a foodie, it’s only natural that she continues to promote local restaurateurs with Dayton Dining.
Juliet Fromholt – Dayton Music Editor
Juliet Fromholt is a downtown Dayton resident who works for WYSO, 91.3FM doing many things including hosting Kaleidoscope – a weekly music program that airs every Wednesday night (8-11pm) and features interviews and live sets with local musicians, artists and filmmakers. A former record store employee, Juliet enjoys highlighting great music from the Miami Valley here on Dayton Most Metro. Juliet also serves on the board of the Antioch Writers Workshop and Cityfolk.
