DOWNTOWN COWORKING DAY
September 9 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pmFree
Now that you can work from anywhere, the Downtown Dayton Partnership and Five Rivers MetroParks invite you to enjoy a workday in the park! On August 25th, RiverScape MetroPark will be transformed into an outdoor coworking space complete with tables, chairs, wi-fi (provided by AT&T), coffee, and more. Invite your colleagues to join you and reconnect after a year of virtual meetings and remote everything. The day will close with happy hour, a chance to network with other attendees and catch up with friends and colleagues.
9:00am – 4:00pm – Coworking
4:00pm – 5:00pm – Happy Hour at Flyboy’s
237 E. Monument Ave.
Dayton, OH 45402
Tables & chairs will be primarily under the pavilion to provide shade from the sun and cover in case of light rain. Attendees will be notified via email if the event is delayed or cancelled due to weather.
Lunch & Breaks
When it’s time to take a break, you can enjoy one of downtown’s many coffee shops or 50+ lunch options. We’ll have maps listing all of your choices! If you bring your lunch back to the park you can catch some acoustic tunes from Noah Back from 11:30am to 1:30pm, part of the Music @ Lunch series every Tuesday through Friday at RiverScape.
You can also go for a walk or take a bike ride along one of the many paved trails that connect at RiverScape. There will also be yard games and other fun around the park to enjoy when you need a few minutes away from your outdoor desk.
Parking & Transportation
Attendee parking is available at the Water Street Garage at 405 Water Street. Validation tickets will be provided at the event check-in table.
Or leave your car behind! RiverScape MetroPark has bike parking, a Link bike share station, an RTA bus stop, a Flyer shuttle stop, and usually at least a few Spin scooters.
