Film Connections with Marco Fargnoli

Marco’s latest project is the Netflix action/thriller/comedy series Medical Police, starring Rob Huebel and Erinn Hayes. He is also currently shooting the critically-acclaimed ABC/Freeform drama Good Trouble. Previous work includes six seasons of the Fox/Hulu series The Mindy Project (with Mindy Kaling and Chris Messina), and six seasons of the 4-time Emmy winning series Childrens Hospital (with Rob Corddry and Lake Bell).
His feature work includes The Gymnast (Grand Jury Award, Audience Award – OutFest), The Dogwalker (Best Cinematography – Ashland Independent, Best First Feature – Cinequest), Solitude (Directors Award – Cinequest), and Race You to the Bottom (Best Actress – OutFest). The Act, a Sundance short, was honored by the International Camera Guild with an Emerging Cinematographer Award.
Marco began his career in Dayton Ohio, studying under Oscar-winning documentarians James Klein and Julia Reichert. Early opportunities to work on the camera crews of influential cinematographers Robert Richardson and Peter Suschitzsky led to a move to Los Angeles in 1997, where he now resides. He is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild and the Directors Guild of America, and is represented by Hilarie Roope of iTalent.

Typically hosted on the 3rd Wed of the month, Film Connections offers tips and hints to strengthen skills, critical perspectives on film genres, screenings of films connected to local filmmakers or networking among aspiring and professional filmmakers.
