Gem City Comic Con
One event on July 25, 2021 at 2:00 am
With 2020 firmly in our rear view mirror I am happy to announce that the GCCC is returning to the Dayton Convention Center July 24th and 25th 2021! However, the show is changed a little bit. To start, there will be no panels, no gaming, no costume contest. I am not happy about canceling any of that but the the specter of COVID still hanging over our head I don’t feel we need to risk putting people in areas that make social distancing more difficult than it all ready is. We will be adding those events back to future dates.
That said, I want to thank you all for sticking with the show. Venders, creators and fans have trusted us holding on to their fees for two years. Thank you for your trust. It means the world to us!
Here is a FAQ. I will be updating it with new questions. IF you have a question email me at Info@gemcitycomiccon.com.
Q: I bought my ticket to the 2020 show online, is it still good?
Q: I bought my ticket at Bell Book and Comic, is it still good?
A: Absolutely, all GCCC 2020 will be honored. Also, you can use that ticket at any show we promote until GCCC 2021. Those shows would be “The Knights Hall Comic and Toy Show Livonia, MI” and The Knights Hall Comic and Toy Show Indianapolis, IN”.
Q: Will 2021 tickets be available in advance?
A: We have no plans to sell tickets online or in advance at all. Admission will be available at the door for the same price of $10.
Q: Is there a limit to how many people can come in to the show at any one time?
A: We don’t know yet. GCCC will comply with all Federal, State, County and City guidelines concerning the number of attendees.
Q: Will there be concessions?
Q: Is this specific guest coming?
A: At this time we have no confirmed guests. I will be reaching out to guests and updating the website as guests are confirmed.
Q: I paid for a Vender/Creator Booth/Table, is that still good?
A: Yes. If you have any questions email is at Info@gemcitycomiccon.com
Q: I made a Vender/Creator reservation but didn’t pay yet, do I still have a spot?
A: Yes, but your payment is due.
Q: I needed to cancel my 2020 Vender/Creator spot, is my spot still available?
A: No. Right now I have removed tables and booths from the floor to satisfy social distancing requirements. As those requirements change I will be adding tables and booths. If you are interested in setting up at GCCC 2021 as a Vender or a Creator email Info@gemcitycomiccon.com to get placed on a waiting list.
Q: What kind of PPE will be required?
A: GCCC will require all Venders, Creators, Guests, Staff and attendees to comply with all Federal, State, County and City guidelines and mandates concerning PPE. If we need to wear masks that is what we are going to do. Failure to comply with the rules is not an option.
